Hi! I’m Candace Kuchar, owner of Camarillo Prenatal Massage and licensed massage therapist. It is my mission as a Prenatal & Postpartum Massage Specialist to help women feel nurtured and supported throughout their journey to, during, and from pregnancy and motherhood.

Serving children and families has always been a passion of mine since I come from a large extended family. This eventually inspired me to pursue certifications and training in both the fields of education and medicine. 

My professional experience began with receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University, where I studied developmentally appropriate teaching techniques for children, birth through age 8. After working with infants and families in a classroom setting, my heart led me to focus on supporting women, and I completed a certification in Medical Assisting and worked in a thriving Ob/GYN practice. Recognizing my commitment to improving lives and love of being a lifelong learner, I continued my educational journey and became a Massage Therapist and a DONA-trained Postpartum Doula. For me, massage and Doula work (although I am not a practicing Doula at this time) is the perfect combination of skill sets, so I can offer the best adjunctive healthcare to support my community.
